Multiviz has no alert object: this app derives one per measuring point by
comparing each poll with the last (alerting.py). An alert
opens when a stream's priority rises to medium or high,
escalates from medium to high, is marked
worsened on each new active change, and closes as
acknowledged when someone clears the measuring point or
resolved when its priority decays to low with no clear. The
next rise opens a new one. Times are when this app saw it; "data time" is the
measurement timestamp behind it.
